My husband and I used to vacation with our children during spring break for many years in New Smyrna Beach.  It was family oriented, quiet, yet it had all the conveniences for vacationers:  beautiful uncrowded beaches, plenty of affordable restaurants with a short wait or no wait at all, activities for all ages, i.e., miniature golf, “real” golf, intercoastal waterway activities, i.e. the estuary tour, manatee sightings.  So when we decided to purchase our own little vacation getaway, there was no question that we would return to New Smyrna Beach.  Why Shore Villas?  It is small, quiet and perfectly located on the New Smyrna Beach “strand.”

The proximity to the beach is most convenient and the view of the ocean from our patio is spectacular.  Shore Villas is managed by top-notch professionals, who also happen to be personable and very helpful with owners and renters.

SHORE VILLAS IS HEAVEN ON EARTH!  Located on the non-driving portion of New Smyrna Beach, Shore Villas is closer to the crashing waves than any other condominium along the beach.  This property is small (only 32 units), very private and exclusive.  The grounds are perfectly manicured and a large pool is located only 15 feet from the beach.  This is our favorite place to spend a long vacation or even a quick relaxing weekend.   The on-site managers are very nice and they always make sure everyone has an enjoyable stay.  I regularly make the drive from Tampa to enjoy the fun atmosphere and laid back old Florida charm at Shore Villas.   There is no place I would rather be.   See you on the beach….

Even though we do not rent our condo, we realize that the success of Shore Villas is a team effort.  Owners need to work together for the good of the complex.  The new marketing efforts being instituted by Yellow Leaf will be one way of taking Shore Villas into the future.  Technology is changing everything and, although I do not fully understand it, I recognize that this new generation communicates differently.  I only have to be around our grandchildren who twitter and text 24/7 to realize that I had better get on board or I will miss out.  That is true of our marketing at Shore Villas.

For twelve years, we have been part of the Shore Villas family.  Indeed, because the complex is small, one does have the opportunity to know their neighbor.  Only steps away from the ocean, the sound of the surf lulls you to sleep at night and provides for water sports during the day.  A testimonial to the lure of Shore Villas is the number of renters from the north who return year after year.

We have been coming to the New Smyrna Beach area for over thirty years (three generations have looked forward to vacations at New Smyrna Beach) and love it more each time we come.  It has always been a jewel in our eyes.  There are continually new discoveries to be made–whether an eagle’s nest or new Thai restaurant. The city appears to be careful about growth and ensures that new building is appropriate.  Now we have the National Seashore Park nearby.  Orlando and all the big city has to offer (Disney, Universal and much more) is only an hour away.  Little towns with wonderful shops like Mt. Dora are near enough for a day’s outing.  Walking our packed-sand beach never gets old.  Delightful restaurants offer fresh seafood.  What more could one ask of paradise?
